This week IAFF visited the El Paso Fire Department with their Peer Support Team. The IAFF Peer Support team was utilized to help out our Firefighters to cope with the events of August 3rd.
It is very important that our firefighters have access to different types of care to help alviate the stress.
The Peer Support Team was asked to contact all of our firefighters, FSTs, and Officers and update them on what the Peer Support Team has to offer.
This week they visited our crews from all shifts to let them know that there is someone here to talk to and there are people who have gone through it too.
