El Pasoans of The Year: The First Responders of El Paso

More than 500 community and business leaders gathered last week at the Centennial Conference Center on Fort Bliss to honor El Paso Inc.’s 2019 El Pasoans of the Year: The first responders of Aug. 3.

Every year an outstanding El Pasoan gets selected as the award winner of the year. However, this year the people chose all of our community’s first responders as the winners.

Fire Chief D’Agostino, Police Chief Allan, Chief Pasillas, Chief Rodriguez attended the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the Police and Fire Depts. El Paso Inc. said that the cube sculpture will be placed at the El Paso International Airport so visitors and locals can see it.

Thank you to our firefighters and public safety communicators! This award is yours and dedicated to your hard work, not only on August 3 but day in and day out.
