EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — When Laila and Josiah Vasquez heard fans were needed for seniors with severe heat on the way, they jumped into action!
Blanca Vasquez said her children’s birthdays are next week, but after seeing a story on KFOX14 about fan donations needed for seniors and the disabled, her children had to help.
Laila and Josiah took their fans to El Paso Fire Station 23 in northeast El Paso Friday.
“My kids right away jumped and got money from their savings to help. I’m so proud of them!” said Vasquez.
Vasquez said Laila will be turning 7 and Josiah will be turning 16 next week.
