Did you download Pulsepoint yet?

A couple of months ago, the Fire Department partnered with Pulsepoint to bring the popular app to El Paso.

Pulsepoint is a simple app for your phone that will alert you when someone nearby is experiencing a cardiac emergency. It will guide you to the person so you can provide early CPR while a crew arrives. Pulsepoint only works in public places i,e; it will never ask you to go into someone’s private property.

Not only does Pulsepoint help you respond to cardiac events nearby, but it also contains a map that’s directly connected to our CAD system. It allows you to see what incidents are active throughout the city. This is especially helpful for planning your route ahead of time (MVAs will show up first on Pulsepoint than in Google or Apple Maps) and warning friends and family about potential streets to avoid.

Pulsepoint is completely free, can be downloaded by everyone and it takes less space than 3 songs on your phone. It also doesn’t affect your battery life as it is not actively updating the incident list when the app is closed.

To download Pulsepoint, click here if you have an Apple iPhone or click here if you have an Android phone (Samsung, LG, Huawei, etc.)
