A Special Visit to Station 5

On March 8, Station 5’s had a very special visit from a group of school children who are deaf. Interpreters helped the firefighters show the kids around and explain more of how a Fire Station works.

Community Risk Prevention took the change to show how some of the new bed shaker alarms work. If you know anyone who can’t hear and needs a special smoke alarm, visit elpasofire.org and fill out the form.

A Shift did such an outstanding job that the class had a special gift for them.
