Training Day

This year’s training day the administration took employees to the SHOC Safety Health Outreach Center.  There Captain Carrillo and FST Schmit gave a presentation on the use of old station 13s They demonstrated the different types of fire safety training that the Fire Prevention division offers the public.  

Next stop was the Training Academy “TA”, Fire Chief D’Agostino got a chance to speak to the employees, where we found out that you better start learning the City goals if you want to be rewarded.  The Fire Chief will be visiting different department and asking about the City’s mission and goals.

Chief Cano and the Fire Prevention Division went next.  His team of inspectors gave us an in-depth presentation of what they have to know so they can do what they do best “business inspections” 

Assistant Chief Carson was up to next to let us know what to expect in the future.

PIO Enrique Aguilar Dueñas closed out the inside portion and lead us outside to see Operation in action.
