The El Paso Fire Department was proud to take part in the City’s Health Fair for employees. This year EPFD offered hands-only CPR. This type of CPR is the latest in techniques used to save peoples lives.
Hands-only CPR is relatively easy to learn and easy to do in case of an emergency.
You just need to learn two easy steps:
If you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse,
(1) Call 9-1-1; and
(2) Push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the disco song “Stayin’ Alive.” During CPR, you should push on the chest at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute.
