UTEP Athletics visits six Fire Stations

To help promote the upcoming Hometown Heroes Night football home opener, members of the UTEP Cheerleaders and Paydirt Pete visited six fire stations between Aug. 14-16. The Miners brought the crews the traditional ice cream, as well as UTEP key chains, pens and rally towels.

The stations visited were Central Station and Station 22 on Aug. 14, Stations 23 and 24 on Aug. 15 and Stations 5 and 17 on Aug. 16. While there, the crews gave the Miners a tour of the station and rigs and demonstrated the equipment.
